Isa decided to watch Yona Yona Penguin instead of Alice in Wonderland. We happily went to Vivo City to watch it after scanning through the colourful poster shown on Golden Village website.
When the movie started, then we realised it was in Japanese! Without the english subtitles, I would have fallen asleep but not Isa. Not that she knows Japanese, she was fascinated by the animated cartoon characters.
A little girl called Koko who always wears a penguin coat given by her late father. She dreams to fly one day despite she knows that penguins are flightless birds.
One night, she bumped into an old man Ji and then subsequently led to a Penguin Store by a little globin called Chaley. Chaley has a motive because its village faced a big evil monster. The plot continued how Koko with her bravery, helped to save this village and helped Zammi, an angel who has lost one of its wings.
The kids would love this movie.
