As I continue to read about Port Moji, I am simply amazed by the Japanese.
The moment I saw the photo of Mojiko Station, I fell in love with it.
The Kanmonkyo, strategetically located at the closest between Kyushu and Honshu, connects these 2 islands. The bullet trains, normal trains and vehicles run on the bridge day and night.
There is an undersea tunnel, Kanmonkyo Pedestrian Tunnel, for people to walk from one island to another. People can literally cross these 2 islands less than half an hour as the length of the tunnel is a mere 780m.

Day 9
Glad to reach the last day of the trip here. Fever has subsided but slight diarrhoea continues. After each meal, I have to mentally prepared that I need to make frequent trips to the toilet.
I should see a doc if my conditions dont improve once home.
Overall, this is one of my best learning experiences, looking back how I prepared and fought hard for this trip and now ready to return home to face the new challenges in my work.
Well Done, BunGerStar !

Sick with slight fever, diarrhoea, cough
During the weekend when I was supposed to relax and enjoy myself, I was down with slight fever, diarrhoea and bad cough. The fever caused my whole body to ache. I felt lethargic and tired.
My bad cough and diarrhoea disturbed my sleep.
The moment I felt stomach rumbling, I rushed to the toilet.
I have been popping pills and hopefully I would get better asap. Otherwise, I would have a real "memorable" trip here.

Day 4
I knew I would fall sick and indeed my forecast was spot-on. I started feeling itchy throat last night despite drinking lots of water since day 1. I had a mouth ulcer too which is a sign of heaty.
It was a torture during the day as I tried to force my eyes open in front of everybody. It was not easy at all.
How time flies and the training is half done. Have I learnt something? I have lots of work to follow-up.
OMG, I can't continue to imagine.

Day 3
The training is getting more challenging. With little sleep each night, I am unsure if I achieve optimal learning. Nevertheless, today's take away is Create a Learning Action Map.
It is quite a meaningful exercise to attempt.
The facilitators agreed to continue with more sharing the next day.
Others have started planning activities for the weekend.

Day 2
Lessons start to get a bit technical. As I have not been sleeping well every night, attending the lessons become tortuous and stressful. The good thing is I got to talk to people to learn from them.

Day 1
As usual, I could not sleep well at all in an unfamiliar environment. I woke up almost every hour, only waiting for the offical waking up time, 6am to arrive.
The breakfast was ok, maybe it was the first day and am sure after a few days of similar food, I will be terribly sick of it.
I was glad that the Open Ceremony was short and brief as we had many discussions going on. I would not say the pace of the training was too fast, but simply too much to ponder, express and share with others.
Time flies, and soon it was coffee/tea break, followed by lunch and then coffee/tea before our Welcome Dinner.
I stepped out of my comfort zone to talk to rep from other countries. I will make sure I learn as much as I can during this period.
